This was my fist ever attempt at detailed drawing and I guess it turned out pretty okay ..hehe
Realism deserves more attention !! Photography, digital art and ... take over all the DD's sad, but we graphite artists can take realism to a whole new level, lets do this Realism FTW
Besides what type of sheets do you use ?
I use sheets that I find apt,coz I cannot find Strathmore/Bristol/canson here
I visited from the littlest to the biggest stores I know in here but all vain , so I just feel the grain and the thickness of the available sheets and bring home the apt ones ...hehe
And ,well, gothic .. I dont know ..maybe or maybe not
